Membership Criteria

Membership is open to agencies that meet the following criteria and are committed to operating within a collaborative, member-driven pool.

Governmental Agency

Your organization must be a governmental agency.

Location

Must be located within 250 miles of the City of Emeryville.

Program Participation

Must participate in either the liability or workers’ compensation program.

Commitment

Must maintain membership for a minimum of three consecutive program years.

What to Expect

All prospective members are subject to Board approval and a structured underwriting process, including an application review, loss data analysis, and financial assessment to ensure alignment with BCJPIA’s programs.
